Hmm. Basically any violent criminal act or active plot/plan for a violent criminal act would be acceptable reasons to execute a person in my opinion. The real problem in the states is how executions are done from the courtroom to the actual execution. I think that some politicians in the past that opposed executions purposely made it a expensive and lengthy process to execute violent criminals to dissuade everyone from utilizing it. The process needs to be changed to make it an inexpensive and efficient means to removing humans that are far less than humans.
