Unless everyone and I mean everyone says that the game is terrible then I'd have to say no. I read them more to see what the game is like and make up my mind from there. I look at game reviews like movie reviews in the sense that it's a matter of opinion how a game is scored (not including tech issues). People that buy a game that they normally wouldn't because it got a 9.5 or decide not to buy a game that they really wanted because it got a 7.0 need to get their heads checked.
