My guess is because people are really hard on controllers. They drop, they fall, they sometimes get thrown (!)
Modular would be another place to break and or get loose.
Otherwise, yea, seems like a good idea. They have a little with the Xbox One Elite, but not as fancy as you idea.
Although there could be some patents messing everything up.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned. Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon! |
