I will be mostly playing eShop and Wii Virtual Console games, which is what I basically bought the console for. I bought my Wii U in March 2015 and so I knew full well that the console was going to have a very short life when I bought it.
Games that I have beaten on my Wii U so far:
- Chrono Trigger
- Phantasy Star II
- Earthbound
Games that I am still playing:
- Shining Force
- Yoshi's Woolly World
- Super Mario 3D World
- Yoshi's Story
- Splatoon
- Mario Kart 8
Games that I have bought but not yet played:
- Phantasy Star III
- Phantasy Star IV
- Super Metroid
- Shining Force II
- Shining in the Darkness
- Golden Sun
- Golden Sun II
Games that I would like to buy:
- #FE Tokyo Mirage
- Final Fantasy: The After Years
- Final Fantasy I, II and III
- Super Mario RPG
- Paper Mario (N64)
- Zelda Breath of the Wild
For me, there are far too many games on the Wii U that I would like to play. I doubt that I will ever be able to fully play everything I would like to on this console. The library is just enormous. Zelda Breath of the Wild is really just icing on the cake for me.
