It will really be some thrilling months until Nintendo reveals NX and  then we can shout "doomed since 1889" as much as we want!

It is very good of Nintendo to almost always turn a profit despite having some really bad times. 

Once Nintendo wanted a third pillar (DS) but now they will probably only have one - NX (with mobile and licensing as small contributions).

Nintendo really needs to diversify, they're getting diminish returns from gaming while gaming as a whole is growing. That's quite worrying.
