Yeah! Falling from the 3.2m shipments to only 800k in the current fiscal year, because NX anticipation/wii u premature abandoning!
The 14m isn't representantive for the wii u, it had still some potential, sales could be more, ( perhaps 16-18m) , if Nintendo wanted to keep it and try a bit more, but they wanted to get rid of the it as soon as possible, all of their moves manifested that...
The hell, they had extremely well holidays last year in Japan thanks to splatoon ( mainly ) and super mario maker! They didn't attempt at all to retain that momentum or fix the shortages that the unexpected huge sales for Nintendo, had caused...
