People are raving over it because it is new and so much better than previous Nintendo games. While it is a good step for Nintendo it simply does not deserve all the praise for merely catching up with current video game standards.
The gameplay is so stale that if Ubisoft or EA would release the exact same game under a different name people and critics would snuff it because it is nothing new and just a rehash of their previous games.
Is it great for a Nintendo game? Yes. Is it great? No.
