Japanese games > western games and always have been. 7th gen and it's dude bro slant was a fluke that I'm glad to see fading finally. Can western devs do anything besides shooters, football, and reality simulators? Tell a freaken story and generate some emotion for fucks sake.
Also "Heres a infinite photorealistic world and a sword and a horse have fun aimlessly wandering" (shit like Oblivion and Skyrim) isn't a RPG. Final Fantasy , Xenosaga, Tales, and Star Ocean are RPGs. Can't stand dry empty western "RPGs" focused on world simulating. Hire some writers next time.
