If Microsoft puts halo on PC they've gracefully bowed out of the serious race with the Xbox one console. At this point I'm half way saved up for the rig that I want and an Xbox one elite controller is What I want added to the bundle. If that goes off without a hitch my Xbox one will be my 360 from now on unless I'm playing halo.

You are far more intelligent than this.

If this last few weeks has shown us anything, it is that there is no console race any more, not in the traditional sense.  It is changing into a race to get games in as many peoples hands as possible... games as a service.

I cant believe people cant or wont see this is coming and coming fast.

Microsoft has conceded to Sony about their major lead but their internal struggle to gain a little more market share is not over. They are trying to salvage what's left of a wider installed base and profiting by making their games more accessible. If Microsoft was winning they would not have put so many games into Windows 10.

think about it. If you lost most early adopters that you had last gen, in order to profit wouldn't you widen your means of possible profitability or would you be stubborn and continue to publicly face them head on? Everything Microsoft did with Scorpio is proof that the war technically is not over but rather well worded or is being used. If Microsoft could keep all multiplatform games easy access to both consoles they would because they don't want to lose anymore potential consoles to Sony over multiplatform multiplayer title.

regardless, we all win... Especially those of us who are lucky enough to own multiple consoles.

givingw up halo and gears to Windows 10 is like Nintendo giving up Zelda and Mario to Apples game App Store.it drains the strength from the brands console sales whilst maximizing profit on the individual up.
