You dont have to repress your pessimistic thoughts just as much as you dont have to repress your good ones.

The feeling I got seeing the gameplay was surprising, is like a completley new thing, people would say is just another Zelda because is called like that, but this is radically diferent from anything in the saga ever, this is kind of like mixing the concept of the very first Zelda wich a suprisingly modern open world design that is clearly inspired by some of the most dinstictive western open worlds, kind of like a middlepoint between something like Skyrim and Far Cry but with Zelda essence and the always particular Nintendo Style. This is really breaking the stablished formula of Zelda while going to the roots at the same time, and it breaks it in so many ways that it makes me exciting as hell to see what the game has to offer me, more than any recent Zelda.

The Far Cry comparison actually makes a lot of sense: https://mynintendonews.com/2015/02/22/zelda-producer-eiji-aonuma-expresses-interest-in-the-far-cry-series/

“As for games I’ve been interested in lately that were made by people outside of Nintendo, I guess one that stands out is Far Cry 4. I’ve long been interested in the Far Cry series and just had the chance to start playing this one, but I haven’t really seen all of the game yet so I’m just beginning to get into it.”

Who would have though this man would be so interested on a series like Far Cry xD
Not a bad place to take some inspiration, is usually a pretty enjoyable series of open world games after all, specially 3, but 4 is more of the same so its ok too.
