Third parties never had power on the wii u (except for Ubisoft which is why they were the most supportive). That was the biggest reason why Bethesda and ea left.

nintendo designed a console with a gimmick in mind, not for developers (much less third parties). Therefore all third parties left and took their respective fanbases with them

WiiU got Assassins Creed, COD, Splinter Cell, Need for Speed and stuff like that. EA announced a "Unprecedented Partnership". 3rd-parties were supportive for WiiU in the beginning.

Those are the basics. Every console is going to have those. Remember, we lost crysis 3, destiny, dying light, aliens, and more all within the first year. Black ops 2 came out for the wii u, but the only dlc was nuketown (one map) and that came out 2 years later!

Things only got worse from there. Ubisoft was the best supporter though. Zombiu was at the time the best use of the gamepad and Rayman legends got amazing scores (on top of utilizing the gamepad well). They needed more supporters like ubi
