The whole point for the wii was to make gaming simplier and easier for everyone. They have one price point to not confuse the market. The addition of a new perical is contrary to their overall stragedy. Also if they were to do this a hard drive would have to have been announced earlier and since getting one is such a struggle it is highly unlikely.
