In all seriousness, take a close look at these three gameplay videos. You don't honestly see the God of War E3 2016 demo as some combination of the bottom two videos?

You're making it overly complicated.

The new God of War plays exactly like Ryse.

How they arrived at this design I would like to know, but the end result is mechanically just like Ryse. Same perspective over the shoulder, same camera control (and loss of control at times), same slow-mo moments, same combat moves, rolling move etc. And this is a good thing, Ryse was good and quite underrated. And God of War does it all even better.

God of War looks phenomenal.
