Ok. But that's largely just the coincidence of the fact that the Right in the US are more likely to be part of a religious ideology. But as I say, that's not true everywhere in the world. There are plenty of radical left wing ideologies that demonize this stuff too. The common factor is just being part of a totalitarian ideology. Without that, you don't have any reason to care who other people are attracted to.
I don't personally want to watch gay people kissing each other either. But I don't have any kind of dogmatic ideology that gives me this justifcation for thinking I have some right to stop them. So I just don't go to gay clubs! Significantly better than trying to murder everyone who doesn't fit your preferences.
