Religious extremism does seem to be a growing - or at least more public issue these days not helped by the migrant crisis and the tension it brings on both sides. As for people becoming more divided over all, I'm not so sure. I'd like to think that recent hostilities and raised blood pressure around the world are just part of the unfortunate backlash that comes with progress. People who have had it good historically are pissed off at how their environments are changing against them and they're lashing out. Deep rooted prejudices are boiling to the surface as their worlds get smaller. Such pissed off people are how Trump is seeing so much success lately. I hope that these times are just the first half of the "it has to get worse before it gets better" saying and these extremist groups adjust and start fading away soon. I really hope things don't have to get any crazier before that happens.
