Why would they want to use an old 360, especially with all the RRoD news all around them? I don't think it would be so far-fetched as to think Microsoft would have used a newer model, but if that's not the case, then they really are idiotic. Yes, it's a lose-lose situation: Newer model gets RRoD, someone thought it appropriate to use an older model. So here are your proofs of the PS3 hardware failures that are similiar to the 360's RRoD: 1.) Freezing which was apparent on both the PS3 and 360, which the threadmaker himself said; 2.) Save problem with a different region game; 3.) Rockstar blaming PS3 hardware; 4.) Rockstar now taking the blame. The last two, on the otherhand, are legit. |
So what your saying is that you have no evidence whatsoever that it was a recent system? You'll recall also that it was enclosed in a small plastic casing with no airflow?
Read my posts again buddy, I didnt once say that PS3 hardware failures are similar in occurence to the Xbox 360's. I said that Microsoft are clearly improving the 360's hardware quality to the point that the Rrod is almost non-existant in new units. The PS3 on the other hand, is turning out to be far less than the bullet-proof technology Sony said it was.
