An important lesson that most with money never really learn. The bitching you hear from highly paid people like stockbrokers is technically accurate - they don't often have a lot of savings - but that's because those folks spiral into wasting their money on things they don't need, over and over again. A bit of parsimony goes a long way, and all of a sudden your life is soooo much happier...
