I think there's nothing wrong at all. These announcement of games that wont be released for awhile provides longevity to that particular system, giving buyers a better piece of mind when choosing a system, knowing that there are particular games they're looking forward to will be release down the road.

Personally, after E3 2015 I was glad to know that my PS4 was getting games in the years to come.

Also it's a marketing thing for media, you hear news about movies being made but wont be released in the next or two either. That's just how the world works in this industry.

Considering what happened to The Last Guardian or FF15, I'd worry.

Those 2 games seem to be the only games people can think of (and Zelda Wii U) to complain about the length time for release.  And if you look at the history of every single game release time frame, like a fraction of a percent of games that's gone way longer than it should.

And i'm not worried because I still have a bunch of other PS4 games im looking forward to that are being released in the next year or so.  And I think that's a good feeling.  Better to have that feeling than to have a feeling of owning a system and not know what games are planning to be released for it in the long run.

I've stated this before, but if every announced E3 game were to release within a 6-8 month time frame then everybody's wallet would be hurting bad lol
