Sounds more like they don’t want to announce it until they know what MS are doing with Scorpio. Like what they did with the PS4, they up the specs to make sure it was the more powerful system to the X1. PS4 was originally going to have 4gigs of Ram, when they found out the X1 had 8gigs, they changed it to match and better it.
