I'd be hoping for more stuff in the mini-dungeons, at least two prizes plus a couple of chests with rupees. Aside from heart pieces and bottles, I'd like to see something like ore. You know, like in A Link Between Worlds where you can spend two pieces of ore to get a better sword, but on a much grander scale. Pick anything between sword, shield, arrows etc. and pay a bunch of rupees. A few different kinds of ore (all in set places, no random garbage) and higher prices with each upgrade, so that you can't upgrade, for example, your sword to max level very early in the game. Better ore in caves with stronger enemies. Then again, technically you would be able to go into difficult caves and get good stuff early, although it would be difficult, so you would think twice about pushing through them or settling for easier tasks first.

I'd like also some kind of better SS upgrade system like the one you exposed. Rather than gathering small stuff from the bokoblins, to find special ore to upgrade your equipment. In fact, some enemies like Iron Knuckles will need an advanced equipment to be able to defeat.

And, having this system in the overworld will be even more interesting. In Zelda 1, (and 2) Death Mountain is full of hard enemies, and unless you are a pro, you'll need better stats to be able to pass through it.

I actually really like the crafting system in Skyward Sword a lot. I would like to see it more extensive with armor and your sword as well. I also look forward to the idea of lots of mini dungeons. The few that were in Twilight Princess were cool and a great thing to find in the world. Having more of them with more variety would really help the overworld feel full and exciting to explore.
