Yeah, if they really don't "segregate" the regular PS4 owners, I don't see why it would change anything negatively though.
It could even boost the overall sales a lot:
- regular PS4 keeps selling because it's the cheapest and it still runs every game nicely
- PS4 Neo sells because it's the "PS Hype", previous PS4 owners will upgrade, and newcomers will straight buy the newer, better model if they have the money.
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
