We know Uncharteds first week sales and that doesn't change because Uncharted sold under 1M in US alone. 2.7M are the week one sales if you like it or not. This beats any other PS exclusive week one by almost 1m even in a quiet month. US makes up 30% of PS4 sales and Uncharted is strong in Europe. Uncharted right now is probably sitting at 4M WW with digital. |
It really shows how frontloaded it was, and you can also see this in weekly charts, and having DOOM and Overwatch stral its thunder certainly didn't help. TLoU was a slow burn, and continued to sell very well as it was a new IP with strong WoM, so you can't look at just first month and compare them (TLoU sold more anyways). If Uncharted 4 could have legs like TLoU, that would make up for its rather lackluster debut, but since it's already dipped behind TLoU in its first month, I don't see that happening.
Now maybe Uncharted 4 is a whole lot more popular globally while TLoU is much more US-centric? But I haven't seen any evidence supporting this.
