Does anyone else here thine should get game abnouncemts no longer than 6-8 months before launch?
I think we are just sinking deeper and deeper into a hype cycle that doesn't seem to be getting any better. Its so bad that every singke year new games get announced that even then end up being at least 18 months away. Every year. Why that is crazy is that at that rate they cohld all just hold those announcemmets back for 12 months and announce the game 6 months from release.
But this need by publishers to one up their rivals has led to reveals that come way too early. I think something has to be done about that.
