I honestly don't think Xeno is brilliant. Sorry. But, to add something, I'm an extremely hard sell on anything. I don't attack people for liking what they do; what I attack is the very nature of the industry. We're acting like children. We like things that are little better than children's stories and often lack the characterization of those legends.
Anyone who has actually met me or talked to me knows I love videogames as much as the most hardcore fanboy. What differentiates me from most is that I have lived through the many ages of gaming and I have yet to see it live along with me. I expect more from this media and Goddamn it, so should everyone else. I don't want every game to be an intellectual mindfuck, I just want the possibility for that mindfuck to coexist with the eye candy we currently enjoy and I want people to accept that eye candy for what it is and not present it as a Rembrandt.
