Did Wii Fit stop the hype of GTA IV in the western world?

Not at all. But you have to admit that everyone, including me, were expecting more from the game. The fact that Mario Kart (a great game, but a karts game after all) is on par with GTA4, probably surpassing it in a few weeks is a little bit (and no not get me wrong) disapointing.

Maybe I feel this way after thing the ridiculous sales of San Andreas, tough obviosly the userbase now is not the one San Andreas had back in 2004...

How is it close to on par? GTA IV has sold more than twice as much each week. It's not like Mario Kart is a bad seller historically, either. GTA IV is ahead of San Andreas pace.
