- Smartwatches. Maybe in the future they will be useful, but right now they are sometimes reach 300 bucks and their only functionality is to make you have to pick up your phone less often. It's not like it's that hard to look at my phone. Plus, most of them cannot even go a full day with a charge, being another gadget crying for a power source.

- Voice assistants (Siri, Google Now, Cortana, Moto Voice, etc). The Google Now cards are actually useful. I'm talking strictly about voice. It's unreliable and nobody wants to talk with their phone in public like an idiot.

I would disagree with the Smartwatches not being useful now. I personally find mine to be very useful, I can quickly see the importance of a text or email while being social without being rude. If I am driving I can quickly respond to an urgent text via voice while not using my phone; it is illegal to use my phone while driving in my state. I also use it for fitness tracking without having to buy a FitBit. Additioanlly, The one I have just looks like a nice watch and I have recieved many compliments on it without anyone knowing it is a smartwatch.

Most smart watches now last 2 days without a charge, and you charge your phone every night so what is wrong with charging your watch at the sametime. As for the price complaint, there are many smart watches that don't have a typcial watch aesthetic that are in $150 price range, it's the ones that look more like traditiaonl watches that cost more.

As for Voice assistants, this is another feature that I find incredably useful. Primarily for making quick notes, settings alarms/reminders, and calling someone without having to look up their contact info. I will conceed that it is really only useful on a phone and not so much on a non-portable device.
