Hillary Clinton is the first woman to be nominated by a major party. Unlike in 2008, she hasn't fallen to anyone. She will go up against Donald Trump, who will represent the Republicans.

Now that we are 100% sure of who will represent each side, which person do you think will provide the best stability to the US? I know that the 2008 crisis(which I barely know about) ruined us horrible, and these next few years can either boost our economic growth or make it stagnate. Also, forgeign issues are at large, which immigrants, refugees, and ISIS being main highlights.

Yes, the 2008 crisis was terrible.  The USA barely survived not going into bankruptcy during that time.  And some of the Counties, Cities, and even the most wealthy state California struggled to make it's payroll. 

We really haven’t recovered from the mess Regan left the country in. Since 1979 virtually all the new wealth has only gone to the wealthy and often overseas.  The middle class, where the majority of the economy comes from, is drying up and disappearing. 

Now, I’m not sure that a president Trump would be worse than the 2^nd Bush.  He was worse than I could even image.  But if he acts as he says, granted most is an act, and he says opposite things depending on the audience, but if he does his tariffs and embargos, it will destroy a significant part of the US economy.

But I do think most of Trump’s promises are just hot air.  He says different things all the time anyway – notice how he has changed since probably getting the nomination.  But if he does 3 of the 10 biggest things he talks about, it will clobber the USA.
