I'd say most of its sales are from people rebuying the console because theirs broke or kids who are just now old enough to get a console.  NX probably should be out by now. 

The NX can't come soon enough.

It's strange though because the DS launched when it's predecessor was still hot,  the 3DS launched while the DS was still hot and one of the game boys too.  

 

Now we have a full year of the 3DS not doing huge numbers before the next one launches.  You can really feel the slowdown.
