Scorched Earth policies while being gratifying, can come back and bite you in the butt. I had a few employees use it thinking they would never be back. A few of them had to come back when their better job fired them a few months to a year latter. And they were begging for their jobs back. None of them got their jobs back. The thing is you never know when you will need something in the future. So parting amiably is preferable.
On to the subject the suspension is bull. Have your parents take the matter up to the board or principle. And if that doesn't work it unfortunate but you will probably have to get a lawyer and take the matter up with the DoE. Also if you want to prove a point and have an online academy classes available, and remove yourself from the school. (They hate that since that means less money for them for their budget.)
But the best thing when dealing with emotional hot topic such as racism, sexism, etc. It try to be as objective as possible. Because with racism and sexism the sentiment of the major usually gravitate towards the "victim" group. It may seem funny but with sexism topics take gender out of the argument. By abstracting the subject to the core problem, that is inequality, you take most of the emotional response from the topic. After all a debate really should be more objective then subjective. And with the issue of movements that are meant to promote equality end up promoting inequality which make them ineffective.
As for the underware thing. Going with what I said about the scorched earth tactics. (Sorry for the fragments) When you go out in public you have to remember that it is not only you friends and you who are seeing you. You should handle going out in public like going to a job interview, at least the kempt part of it. There are few people who will hire a person who has their underware hanging out, waring revealing outfits. Because future employers look at a person public life of their potential employees, so they will look at you online presence.
Sorry have to cut this here, I have work.
