Are you insinuating that such people are immoral, or that they must be unattractive?

It's a bit of a dig at some area's, such as here in Ireland sadly there is a huge culture of going out to bars being seen as the thing to do to enjoy and socialize, I don't drink at all myself (alcohol obviously) but still find myself being ushered towards bars because it's so much fun, as a sober person drinking coffee at a bar I can see firstly that drunkenly falling around the place doesn't look like much fun and secondly I see so many people doing things that they will regret in the morning or at least feel awful for in the morning, especially now that everything gets posted to facebook so it isn't like you aren't going to see pictures of what you do now when you wake up in the morning.

But yeah my point was more that some places only really have going out to pubs as their form of being social and some aren't brave enough to think you can order a non alcoholic beverage from a bar because of peer pressure to "have fun" and get drunk, sadly half the people who get drunk and end up in bad situations have their friends good intentions of wanting them to "have fun" putting them in danger.
