Maybe we lost touch to gaming, ever thought about it? It's not the same excitment as it was back then, when we were kids/teens, isn't it? We all get older and our tastes change and our priorities in life change as well.

A week ago I finally bought a New Nintendo 3DS XL (didn't had any older version from the 3DS family) together with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I love the game. But why do I love it? Is it just a nostalgic feeling because of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES or do I truly love the game by itself? Would I love the game as much if I would be a kid/teen who never played any Zelda game before? It's hard to say. So, who is really loosing touch?

By the way, the official functions of Shigeru Miyamoto are Representative Director and Creative Fellow as you can see from the Financial Statment FY 2016 on the last page (link below). Creative Fellow is an interesting function because it actually means that he's not the man who actually do the actual creative work but rather acts as an adviser and consultant, a think tank for new ideas in any part of the creative process of a game.
