My girlfriend in Japan has been playing Zelda:PH since the release, and she loves it.
I've watched her play on my webcam and she just can't put it down. It seems she's genuinely having fun. Seeing her like that makes me happy.
According to her, the use of stylus is very naturally integrated into gameplay and makes fighting fun and accessible even for her who usually dislikes fighting monsters. Some puzzles are challenging and require a fair amount of time to solve, so it's not a no-brainer game either.
When I first heard about Zelda on DS, I thought "meh" but I guess I was wrong. It looks like Nintendo did it again.
