I'll have to throw in my personal preferences as well, because I don't think I'll be able to do this properly otherwise.
Nintendo needs to work hard to get better third-party support. Nintendo also needs to lower their prices more quickly. It's like they never come down, and it makes it really hard for me to get into Nintendo stuff. It doesn't have to be quick, but the prices need to come down at some point.
Sony needs to make online play free again. Other than that, I can't come up with anything. I'm pretty happy with Sony's first-party games in general.
Microsoft too needs to make online play free. I'm not paying for what I've been able to do for free on PC forever, especially when online multiplayer still seems to often use P2P-based technology, which is practically free for publishers. (I think Microsoft might actually have it better in this regard, in comparison to Sony, but I'm not sure.) Microsoft also needs to improve their first-party support.
