So, with the announcement of AMD's new tech, Rx480 and the rumors of Nintendo+VR we can assume that the NX is not going to be a weak console,  weaker than NEO and Scorpio? maybe, we don't know, but we can be a little bit more optimistic. Now we need to know the special feature of the "platform".... console and handheld hybrid with free form display, VR, zelda and beyond good and evil 2? damnnn... day one.

Emily Rogers say it's gonna be around the same level of Xbone if not lower, so maybe 1Teraflopz console.

I think the gpu might be the unannounced low end R7 440 or R7 450, consistent in Nintendos very low power usage and cheap philosophy.

A Radeon 440/450 is likely to be a rebadged GPU from the last 4+ years and not Polaris. The only new chips this round is the Radeon 480 and 470 series.

Polaris 11 should be the sucessor to the Radeon 7850/7870/265/270/370 chips.
Below that line expect Bonair and Oland to be repurposed/rebadged, maybe a sprinkling of Cape Verde... Which means Xbox One levels.

The rumor about VR also suggested that it's a handheld though, albeit a large one. I can't see Nintendo topping 600 gflops with a 5-7inch handheld. But, it is possible that Nintendo will release their patented Supplemental Computing Device alongside it, allowing people to boost it's graphics capability in "console mode" above PS4/XB1, but I don't know if a SCD could boost it all the way up to Neo level.

Mobile chips are already exceeding 600Gflop.
Tegra X1 is doing 1024Gflop.

nVidia's Tegra X1 successor will also get a drop down to 16nm and will have a Pascal derived GPU and should step things up again, probably considerably.

But... Just because a mobile device is doing 1 Teraflop, doesn't mean it can be compared to the Xbox One in terms of graphics or performance, they render things differently, have different memory subsystems, completely different CPU ISA, memory amounts, the works.

I'm thinking it uses Polaris 11. This would fit with the low wattage profile. Plus it could end up close to 3 TFs which is higher than ps4. As for VR, I think that is a false rumor. Although I think that with Polaris 11 I think it could handle it.

Doubt it.

Emily rogers says that the gpu is not polaris and nvidia is in their future, but as far as I know, Nvidia didn't announce any custom chip for their future. so, she's full of shit.

nVidia would be under NDA. Nintendo typically despises releasing technical information, ever.

I think it will be as powerfull as the Xbox One, it will use ARM architecture to get mobile multiplats and to make the handheld and console compatible. The launch price should be 200$ at this point, maybe it will be cheap enough to ad another gamepad again as technology progresses

It doesn't need to be an ARM chip in order to get mobile multiplatforms, Intel processors are perfectly capable of running Android and thus the entire  Android software ecosystem using a few tricks such as Binary Translation.

I really hope that Nintendo targets a 399 Euro price and deliver a 4-6 TF Home Console :)

Even if it only had 64Mb of Ram?

More to performance than just how many Teraflops it has.

For me personally, if I want power I'll stick to PC gaming.
What I want for Nintendo to do is drop the silly controller gimmicks and I will be onboard.
