Should kids have a chance to grow up and decide what gender they are, or should parents change their sex early on?

Have to say, the "I'm whatever gender I identify as" I mean... that doesn't even begin to fly with anything else, if I took my white self into a Black Neighbourhood and started calling people there the N word saying it was fine because I identify as not only a Black Male, but a Black Male who is 19 ft tall and Made out of Black Steel.... I mean I'm sure they would still be showing a picture of a white person in the obituaries in my local Newspaper after it....
