Miyamoto is 63 years old. Im not sure what people are expecting of him... AAA every year? He is past his prime. If he is able to crank out a AAA title every now and then, treat it like a bonus.

If Nintendo fans are counting on Miyamoto to resurrect Nintendo. You guys are doomed.

Is there really such thing as a age limit or something like that for creating or overseeing development of video games?

Yes, because

- Directing/Producing a video game is very labour intensive. Level design, gameplay mechnicals, graphics, motion capture. The concentration and focus required is not for the elderly.

- You have to be constantly up to date with the latest technology. Something elderly people arent particularly good with.
