Is Miyamoto losing his touch?

Let´s keep in mind that Miyamoto is not a designer anymore.... but rather a producer, supervisor or director, depending on the game.
After playing Pikmin 3, Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, Nintendo Land, SM3dLand, Skyward Sword, Super Mario Maker (where he was a producer) and Super Smash Bros WiiU, Mario Golf World Tour , Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, P&D Super Mario Edition (where he was a supervisor).... I´d say....no... he is not losing his "touch".
But he is not the only one responsible to all decisions in the production of a new game.
I just think that he should be involved in more franchises. It seems that Nintendo is only demanding him to work on Mario and Zelda, and that may be making him tired and uninspired sometimes.
