I think people seem to forget these days that gsmes cost $60 a pop. If it sells 2M copoes at full price thats still $160M in total revenue. With 4M copies at full price bringing in $240M. I don't see this game costing more than $60-$100M to make. And thats even pushing it, devs in japan aremt paid as much as devs in the states. 

Well, this game has been in development for what already?4 years?And it is also one of its biggest franchises, so I see Square making a big marketing push for it.But as you said, I think with around 2.5 million solf is enough to make profit back.
