For it to be considered a success? It would have to sell over four million combined on XB1/PS4 for it to be a success, given the pedigree of the franchise and the fact that it's a numbered "mainline" sequel (even though there's no such thing as a game you don't have to play for the franchise's story to make sense).
I'd rather be playing Metroid Prime
