 I whole hearedly disagree I think there's much bigger mistakes Sony made with the PS3 than BC keeping in mind we already have 120-130 million PS2's out there already , it's a nice feature but I don't think it's one that seals the deal for a significant % of the consumer , if Sony's smart they'd have researched this and concluded the same as me.

 PRICE POINT is Sony's biggest mistake , what would boost Sony's sales more ? a price reduction or full BC across all SKU's ? . Price Point , Price Point , Price Point the hardware is too expensive to make.
