Argh, not good news for me. I've been hoping that the story in MGS4, and ultimately the conclusion of the entire series would be as far as possible from the shitfest that was the latter half of MGS2, and keep going in the same direction as the awesome third part of the series.
Many a game/movie/whatever series has had a good plot for the most part, only to leave a bad taste in my mouth from a craptacular ending. Even the otherwise sparkling Metroid Prime trilogy managed to disappoint me like this, so hopefully MGS won't do the same.
