It *is* contributing enormously as we speak.
The Stanford researchers just gush about PS3's contribution, and folding@home distributed network is way more powerful than any supercomputer on Earth now that PS3s have come into the group.
I really love the idea of ordinary people's idle processors helping out with tasks like this.
