I agree removing BC was stupid. I still bought one without it but I probably would be buying a few PS2 games to go with my PS3 if they would have included it. As it stands I have 2 PS3 games and 2 Blu-ray movies to use on my system. I could have an additional 4 or 5 PS2 games I would have bought new if they had kept it in.
Also, I don't see them ever having full HD movies available for download that defeats the whole purpose of a Blu-ray player or buying their format. They make royalties off each Blu-ray sold so it's not likely they are going to give PS3 owners any other choice when it comes to movies.
