I just had the same thought. It almost seems like film critics want to be above poor gaming stories (even though many of today's films have really weak stories) XD
Next up is Assassin's Creed, I believe. Let's see if that'll be the one breaking the curse and becoming the first ever well reviewed film based on a game.
