I think the streaming device will link to Windows apps and Windows gaming platform. It should be a decent alternative to Apple TV or Amazon Firestick.
Whether the 2017 box will be more powerful than the Neo is a different story. I don't think MS will risk a more powerful platform at a higher cost, having to risk more money and sustain higher losses if it doesn't work out considering this generation hasn't gone in their favour.
