You would think that but mind you they released the Wii U for $350 a year before the PS4. So the fact that there is better hardware out there doesn't mean Nintendo will use it and make a console which is technically equal or better than the PS4 for $300. As for this topic I guess E3 is around the corner and this is one of many rumours to come in the coming two weeks
