You might want to look to first-person dungeon crawlers like Shining in the Darkness (GEN), Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land (PS2), Legend of Grimrock (PC), and, most recently, Severed (PSV). 

Or, if you're thinking third-person/top-down, you could look at Labyrinth Legends (PS3), or anything from Baldur's Gate/Diablo/Dungeon Siege.

As Natsu said it will probably be top down. It will have the same graphics style as the old Pokemon games because we are using RPG Maker VX Ace
