Someone needs to make a new thread: MS in a unique position to disrupt their console sales.
Whether there is an Xbox1.5 or not, the reality is no one can say for sure it will disrupt anything. Hell, it might even make matters worse for MS if they don't have one. People might think, screw this we getting a more powerful console for a little bit more and it has more games.
The momentum is with Sony this gen and it doesn't help MS that they don't release any / many games until holiday season, especially considering they are behind in sales.
It is also silly to think that with games like FF7R, Shenmue3, and their VR device, that Sony will suddenly lose all their abilities to sell and MS will just soar ahead.
The article is literally relying on the PS4Neo to overly expensive, for development being hell, for an Xbox1 being a dev kit some how translating to huge sales, VR to flop and people to lose all interest in any game that Sony is to release or has released.
