Streaming games is dead for me and it will stay dead for me until the end of humanity.
I doubt any truth in this rumor. Others tried to establish a streaming game service and failed miserably. Don't think that Nintendo will try to set a foot in something so unstable, when the hardware sells of their current home console are so low.

Im Honestly okay with streaming games but only for games where lag input doesnt matter (rpgs, visual novels, walking simulators, simulators, ect).

Turn based RPGs for ex, it doesnt matter if you push the "attack" button and then theres a 1sec delay before your character on screen acts.

But a Mario platformer? a 1sec delay between button press and the guy on the screen jumping, would make mario unplayable.

The time it takes data travels on the net, from your house -> server (half ways around the world) -> back to your house, is alot longer than if you just own the console physically and play  the game on that.

That is something people dont mention, about stream gameing, but its always a issue.

Theres no easy fix for it. Its not even a bandwidth issue, so just getting insanely fast download/upload speeds wont help it any.

Also because Streaming services want "most people with internet" to be able to get a enjoyable experiance, they compress sound & image.

So its easier to stream in bandwidth requirements. The result is you get a uglier looking game, with worse audio.
