In a sense he was generic. His the ideals from comics were kinda left out. He has done the ruling thing, making people think he was a god and moved on, he admits that himself in the comics. His 'the strong survive' statement was not present either. So what is left is just a villain who wants to harm and rule the world, which is generic without his unique traits.
The Shi'Ar stuff would be great to see, other than the villain who was hinted at in the extra scene, there aren't really many big X-men villains left other than themselves. Nimrod was done in DoFP (kinda), we'll never seen Selene. You know who would work? Shadow King... he could be awesome. A being from another dimension with no form, taking over minds (including X-men) turning them against each other? |
His ideals did get mentioned when he announced he would destroy the world of the weak and only the strong would survive.
This is his first rendition, so it makes sense that they represented him in his initial state as he appeared in the comics.
Theres something else they can also do if they want wich is Age of apocalypse. But deadpool is already using cable. :x
